Privacy Policy
This policy is published by Narrow Road Studios LLC. It covers our studio site and the apps we ship that do not yet have their own privacy policy, including Lost Sauce and Goji Memory. We do not sell personal information. We do not buy advertising audiences or run third-party trackers on this site. If you have a question, use the contact details at the bottom of this page.
Lost Sauce
Lost Sauce (iOS, bundle ID com.narrowroad.lostSauce) is a
private family meal planner. The current app has no user accounts. The
recipe catalog is not in the App Store binary — first launch is empty until
you scan a QR code or paste a pack link in-app.
- Pack download — scanning or pasting a pack link
downloads recipes and images onto the device from our server
(
lost-sauce.vercel.app). After that, kitchen data stays on the device. - Camera — used to scan a pack QR and to photograph a dish.
- Photo library — used to attach a picture to a recipe.
- On your device — recipes, the meal plan, pantry items, and photos you attach stay on the device after download. We do not otherwise upload recipes, plans, pantry items, or photos.
- Server logs — the pack host may record an IP address in normal server/access logs when serving that download. We do not sell it, do not use it for ads or tracking, and we do not build a profile.
- No public feed — this version has no social sharing or public profile.
- No purchases or ads — no in-app purchases, no advertising, and no tracking SDKs.
Deleting the app deletes this data from the device.
Goji Memory
Goji Memory is a flashcard and passage app for text you add yourself. This section covers the current app and the waitlist on this site.
- On your device. Decks, passages, and quiz schedules are kept in a local library on the device. Goji Memory has no account, and it never asks for a name, email address, phone number, or birthday.
- A random install ID. The first time the app opens, it makes a random ID on the device that is not tied to you. It is not built from anything about your device. We do not combine it with any name, email, contact detail, or other identity. Deleting the app deletes the ID, and nobody, including us, can recover it or link it back to a device or person.
- What the app sends. Under that ID the app sends anonymous app usage data, such as which cards were reviewed, whether an answer was right, response times, and deck and subject groupings. It also sends basic performance and error data, such as whether a deck request worked and how long it took. It sends no personal information.
- Text used for one request. When you ask the app to make a deck from a topic or notes, that text is sent to our AI provider, xAI, to write the cards. To sort decks into subjects and suggest a next deck, the app sends deck titles, topics, a few card fronts, and subject names the same way. We use that text only to answer the request and do not keep it afterward. Card text is never stored on our servers.
- What we use it for. Study features, such as subject groupings, mastery scores, and next-deck suggestions, and app quality, such as fixing bugs and keeping the app fast.
- What we never do. No ads, no tracking across apps or websites, no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, and no selling of data. We share nothing beyond the AI requests described above. We do not store IP addresses with this data.
- Waitlist on this website. If you join the list at narrowroadstudios.com/goji-memory, we store the email address you submit, the product name, the time you joined, and any campaign tags or referring page that came with that visit. We use the address to tell you when Goji Memory is ready. We do not sell it.
- Deletion. In the app, Delete deck and Delete passage remove that item from the device. Deleting the app removes the library from the device and makes the install ID unrecoverable. To leave the waitlist, email hello@narrowroadstudios.com.
Children and households
Lost Sauce is a household meal planner. Families may use it together. Recipes, plans, pantry items, and photos stay on the device after download. Pack-download logging is described under Lost Sauce above. Goji Memory does not ask for an account or any personal information. The waitlist email is described under Goji Memory above.
This website
narrowroadstudios.com is a marketing site. We do not run accounts here. The Goji Memory section describes the one form on this site, the waitlist. If you email us, we use that message only to reply.
This site counts page views with Vercel Web Analytics and removes the query string and hash before sending them.

If our data practices change, we will update this page and the effective date above.
